A large police presence was seen on Bondi Avenue in Newmarket for several hours following a report of a robbery this morning.
York Regional Police received a call for a robbery at 9:53 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18 in the College Manor neighbourhood near Bayview Avenue and Mulock Drive, with about nine police vehicles visible on the street at one point.
According to Const. Maniva Armstrong, investigators believe there are two victims connected to the incident.
There are also four suspects and a suspect vehicle possibly related to this incident, she added.
Information regarding arrests is not currently available, she said, and the investigation is ongoing.
