Armed robbers tie up Richmond Hill phone shop staff: York police

No physical injuries reported; York police on scene

York Regional Police are on the scene of an armed robbery at a Richmond Hill mobile phone store earlier this afternoon in which the shop’s employees were tied up, according to the force’s report on social media just after 2 p.m. today, Nov. 4.

There will be a police presence in the area of Major Mackenzie Drive and Bayview Avenue, from where the four suspects fled, York police said.

“...Employees were tied up, but not physically injured,” police said.
