The North Newmarket Lions Club is holding its 24th annual artisan festival this weekend along the Fairy Lake trail in Newmarket, with 70 vendors and a barbecue.
The free festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 17 and 18 each day.
The vendors will be offering one-of-a-kind handmade items, including pottery, jewelry, macrame, woodwork, greeting cards, signs, flower design, leatherwork, and visual art.
Admission is free, and donation boxes will be available to support the club's community programs, including Coats for Kids every winter and sneaker and sweater drives in the fall, said Laura Poole, co-chair of the event.
