Re: Demonstrators stand off in Newmarket over LGBTQ+ education, Sept. 20, 2023.

When I was a child, I was constantly asked if I liked anyone in my class. When I was a child, the opposite gender's physical attractiveness was always an important factor of which to keep track.

When I was a child, my teacher told the class that she was getting married and then later told us when she was pregnant.

This is why this suggestion that teaching children that queer and trans people exist is so obviously based on a faulty premise.

No one wants to show children hard-core gay pornography; they simply want to teach people that there are different ways to live and love others. If this is teaching sexuality in an inappropriate way, then we might as well arrest my teacher for shoving her sexuality in all of our faces.

So, the issue becomes if the charlatans pushing such ideas are too stupid to realize their mistakes or are simply evil.

One such (person) at the Newmarket protest stated that "they don't teach about straight." Not only is that sentence a grammatical nightmare, but it is also an absolute lie. Children are "taught about straight" from the second they are born.

Why do you hate children knowing things about the world around them?
