UPDATE: York Regional Police has issued another appeal today, Aug. 4, for assistance in locating Aurora resident Helen Sedo, who is still missing after last being seen on the night of Wednesday, July 29 at her home near Bathurst and St. John's.

York Regional Police is seeking the public's assistance in locating a 61-year-old Aurora woman missing since July 29. 

Helen Sedo was last seen in the late evening of Wednesday, July 29, 2020, when she left her home on Treegrove Circle, which is in the area of Bathurst Street and St. John’s Sideroad, according to police.

She is described as white, 5 feet 1 inches in height, with dark-brown, shoulder-length hair. She wears glasses and was carrying a red-and-olive-coloured duffel bag. 

She was driving a 2012 silver Acura RDX with licence plate CBDY 015. 

"She has not returned home and her family have not been able to get in contact with her. Police and family members are growing increasingly concerned for her well-being," police said in a news release.
