Warrant issued for Richmond Hill man who fled after colliding with cruiser

Siavosh Salimiardebili is wanted in connection with several charges in Markham and Richmond Hill, including criminal harrassment

A warrant has been issued for a 29-year-old man wanted in connection with uttering threats, criminal harassment and several other offences in the cities of Markham and Richmond Hill.

York Regional Police is currently conducting an investigation after a victim came forward with information.

On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at approximately 8:55 p.m., York Regional Police officers observed the suspect driving a red 2017 Mercedes Benz, in a private parking lot in Richmond Hill. When officers approached the vehicle, the suspect suddenly reversed and collided with the police vehicle. The suspect subsequently fled the area at a high rate of speed.

A warrant has been issued for the suspect’s arrest. Investigators are releasing an image of the suspect and are appealing to the public for any information on his whereabouts.

  • Damage to the front passenger side bumper
