Vaughan man wanted for attempted murder in Brampton shooting

Peel Regional Police is seeking the public's assistance in locating Nakeem Jamar Johnson, 33, of Vaughan in connection with a 2022 shooting in Brampton.

A Vaughan man is wanted for multiple offences, including attempted murder, following a 2022 shooting in Brampton. 

Peel Regional Police is seeking the public's assistance in locating 33-year-old Nakeem Jamar Johnson, according to a news release.  

He is wanted for attempt murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and numerous firearm and drug tracking offences in connection with the Feb. 3, 2022 shooting at 10:39 p.m. at Queen Street East and Rutherford Road in Brampton, police said.

A 33-year-old male victim suffered gunshot wounds, resulting in serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
