Teenager stabbed at party in Richmond Hill

Investigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses and a suspect after a stabbing in the City of Richmond Hill.

On Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at approximately 8:50 p.m., York Regional Police responded to the area of Birch Avenue for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they located a male teen who was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. He has since been released from hospital.

Officers determined that the incident happened at a party inside a residence on Birch Avenue.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward, as well as anyone with residential video surveillance or dashcam footage from the area at the time.
