A 17-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with an SUV Tuesday morning in Markham.
Emergency crews responded at about 10:15 a.m. to a report of a collision at Bayview Avenue and Romfield Circuit after a motorcycle southbound on Bayview was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee while making a left turn onto Romfield from Bayview.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Jeep was not injured and remained on scene.
