Suspicious package makes workers at Vaughan store sick (VIDEO)

Crime Stoppers York Region says police are seeking a man who delivered the package Jan. 14

Employees at a Vaughan business had to get medical attention after opening a suspicious package that was delivered to their store earlier this month. 

At 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 14, an 8 x 11 envelope was dropped off at Anatolia Tile and Stone Store at 8300 Huntington Rd. in Vaughan. The suspect arrived in a white Ford cube van and dropped the package off at reception, according to Crime Stoppers York Region. 

The employees who opened the envelope and were exposed to its contents began experiencing adverse physical reactions and had to seek medical help. 

The suspect who delivered the package is described as a South Asian male, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He had black hair and a black beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black puffy jacket, grey jeans and black shoes. 

The suspect vehicle is a white Ford cube van.
