An armed carjacking occurred in Markham parking lot early this morning.
The victims were getting into their Mercedes CLA45 in the parking lot on Enterprise Boulevard when the suspects pulled up in a vehicle and blocked them in Thursday, July 13 at approximately 1:15 a.m., York Regional Police said in a news release.
One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victims and told them to get out of the car. When the victims got out, the suspects fled in the vehicle.
No one was physically injured, police said.
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward. Officers would also like to speak with anyone who may have video surveillance or dashcam footage of the incident.
