Shots fired at Vaughan banquet hall this morning

Investigators with the #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses following a shots fired incident at a banquet hall in the City of Vaughan. On Monday, April 15, 2019, shortly before 1 a.m., police were called to a banquet hall in the area of Highway 27 and Langstaff Road, for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located shell casings in the parking lot, in front of the main entrance. At the time of the shooting there was an event taking place at the banquet hall with approximately 75 people in attendance. No one was injured. Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident, who has not yet spoken with police, to please come forward.
