Richmond Hill man arrested, Lamborghini SUV seized in Rolex theft investigation

A Richmond Hill man faces multiple charges following an investigation that began with the theft of Rolex watches valued at $100,000 last August. 

Two male suspects used fraudulent bank drafts to purchase luxury watches at a store near Jevlan Drive and Chrislea Road in Vaughan, according to York Regional Police.

Miguel Bahadur, 30, is charged with fraud over $5,000, utter forged documents, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 x2, fail to stop for police, and fail to comply with probation order.

The second suspect has yet to be identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers recovered cash and fraudulent documents when a search warrant was executed at a Richmond Hill residence Nov. 4, police said.

A stolen Lamborghini SUV worth $300,000 was also seized during the investigation.
