Highway 400 remains closed in both directions from Mapleview Drive to Highway 88 in Bradford following a major collision involving multiple vehicles during "treacherous" conditions this afternoon.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes, however, the northbound lanes are also closed, according to OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt.
"Unbelievable, you can't see a thing," he said in video posted from the scene about the lack of visibility at about 3 p.m. "It's very treacherous, very precarious for anyone to be out in these conditions.
Police and fire crews are advising motorists to drive with caution as strong winds and blowing snow are making driving conditions difficult.
No injuries have been reported.
