UPDATE, Sept. 13: York Regional Police reports the missing man has been safely located in Toronto and thanks the public and media for their assistance.

York Regional Police is appealing to the public for help to find a missing person who was last seen in Newmarket at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12.
YRP said along with the family, they are concerned about 21-year-old Ian McCarty.
He is described as a white male, six feet tall, and very thin with short dirty blonde hair.
McCarty was wearing gold eye glasses, a long-sleeved black shirt that says Blue Mountain on it, jeans and black running shoes.
