UPDATE: York Region Police report the missing woman and her dog have been safely located, thanks to a citizen's assistance.

York Regional Police is seeking public assistance to locate a 61-year-old woman who is missing from the City of Richmond Hill.

Leslie Anne Acheson was last seen on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, shortly after 3:30 p.m., when she left her home in the area of Silver Linden Drive and Melville Street. She has not returned and her family have not been able to get in contact with her. Police and her family are growing increasingly concerned for her well-being.

Missing:

  • Leslie Anne Acheson
  • 61 years
  • 5’7”, 115 lbs.
  • Blonde shoulderlength hair
  • Possibly has a dog with her

A command post has been set-up at Red Maple Public School and officers with the York Regional Police Search and Rescue Unit are in the area looking for her.
