One dead, two injured in Hwy. 407 crash in Vaughan

Police reported that a 65-year-old man from Mississauga, died in a crash on Highway 407 in Vaughan Sunday.

Emergency crews responded at 11:18 p.m. to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a guide rail and rolled over on Highway 407 West, east of Highway 27 on Sunday.

The man was a passenger in a single-vehicle collision and two others in the vehicle were injured.

The 34-year-old driver was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while a 32-year-old female passenger suffered minor injuries, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release.

The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been laid.
