Newmarket woman charged with impaired following Bradford traffic stop

On Saturday, April 24, 2021 at approximately 3 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Dissette Street in Bradford. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to South Division.

As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Crystal Rose of Newmarket was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – excess blood alcohol.

Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.

Every day, on average, up to four Canadians are killed and many more are injured in alcohol and/or drug-related motor vehicle crashes. Impaired driving is totally preventable. Plan ahead and do your part for road safety.
