York Region residents were among 47 people charged with dangerous driving and 34 charged with impaired driving in the Greater Toronto Area by Ontario Provincial Police from Oct. 21 to 28.
According to OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, area residents charged are:
- Giuseppe Vacca, 52, Richmond Hill — Impaired driving 80 plus
- Andrew Hutchison, 30, Newmarket — Impaired driving 80 plus, Drive under suspension, Novice driver-B.A.C. above zero
- Colin Easson, 34, Markham — Impaired Driving 80 plus, Dangerous operation, Drive vehicle not approved with ignition interlock device
- David Huynk, 31, Bradford — Impaired Driving 80 plus, Driving under suspension.
