A Markham man is among four people facing charges following a drug bust Tuesday in Bobcaygeon.
At about 5:45 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Need Street. Officers seized about 16 grams of crack cocaine, Percocet pills, and more than $2,000 in cash, according to a news release from City of Kawartha Lakes OPP.
Andrew Bancey, 31, of Markham, has been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and possession of a Schedule 1 substance (Percocet).
Brandon Beatty, 35, of Bobcaygeon, has been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Cobey Black, 65, of Bobcaygeon, has been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of a Schedule 1 substance (Percocet), and breach of probation.
Doug McRae, 59, of Bobcaygeon, has been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Three of the accused were held for a bail hearing in Lindsay and were released with future court dates. All four are scheduled to appear in court Dec. 14.
