South Simcoe police charged a Barrie man with numerous offences following a single-vehicle rollover in Bradford March 15.

A serious collision in Bradford led to multiple charges for a Barrie man last week.

South Simcoe police responded to a single-vehicle rollover in the area of Line 11 and Sideroad 10 in Bradford March 15 at about 4 p.m. Officers located the male and female occupants, who had managed to exit the overturned vehicle.

County of Simcoe paramedics treated them for minor injuries at the scene. However, investigators allege the crash and injuries to the female were the result of intimate partner violence.

As a result, police charged a 31-year-old Barrie man with several offences, including attempt to commit murder, dangerous operation of a vehicle, uttering death threats and assault. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
