Man brandishes knife during dispute at Newmarket plaza

York Regional Police are asking for witnesses and anyone involved to come forward after a man pulled out a knife during an argument at a Newmarket plaza Wednesday. 

On Sept. 22 at 11:30 a.m., police were called to the plaza at Yonge Street and Mulock Drive for a report of a weapons incident, according to a news release. 

During an argument, a male suspect had brandished a knife, but he was disarmed and no one was injured, police said. 

Criminal investigators are now looking for the suspect, persons involved and witnesses.
