A 76-year-old Brechin man is dead following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 48 in Georgina this morning, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
The accident occurred after the man suffered a medical emergency while driving.
The highway, which was closed between Lakeridge Road and Riverview Beach Road after the collision that occurred at about 10 a.m., has been re-opened.
