UPDATE, 3:30 p.m.: A collision between a tractor-trailer and SUV at about 4:45 a.m. Monday morning resulted in a road closure northbound on Highway 48 at Davis Drive.
A 17-year-old driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries, Ontario Provincial Police said, and was able to pull themselves from the wreckage and walk away from the accident.
Due to the tractor-trailer's gas tank being punctured, the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Transportation were called to the scene of the accident to monitor the cleanup of the spill.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid, police said.

UPDATE, 11: 30 a.m.: One lane northbound on Highway 48 at Davis Drive is now open, as the collision and fuel spill cleanup is ongoing, OPP report.
The male is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Motorists are requested to drive slowly in the area.

Ontario Provincial Police closed the road this morning at about 6 a.m. for the investigation.
One southbound lane remains open and the road closure is expected to be in effect until about 11 a.m., OPP said.
One male was transported to the hospital as a result of the collision, police said.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
