Gunshots in Georgina damage house and vehicles

York Regional Police are seeking suspects and appealing to the public for information after shots were fired in Georgina.

On Monday, July 17, at 2:35 a.m., York Regional Police said they received a call for the sound of gunshots on Danny Wheeler Boulevard near the south end of Valleo Street.

Police said there were reports of people yelling and vehicles driving at a high rate of speed. Investigators determined that multiple gunshots had been fired at about 1:55 a.m., damaging a house and two vehicles parked in the driveway. 

There were several people found in the area, but no reports of any injuries, police said.

Investigators urge any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward. Anyone with information about this crime, or a video recording from the area around the time, is asked to contact police as soon as possible.
