UPDATE: 1 man seriously injured in alleged knife assault at Bradford LCBO (5 photos)

Police say the victim in the incident, a 28-year-old man from Toronto, is in hospital in stable condition

UPDATE: 

The South Simcoe Police Service is investigating a serious assault in Bradford.

On Friday, Nov. 19 at approximately 12:20 p.m., police responded to a report of an assault in a parking lot in front of the LCBO on Holland Street West. 

Once on scene, police determined that a 28-year-old man from Toronto was injured during an altercation in the parking lot. He was transported to hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Two suspects fled the scene in a pickup truck but were taken into custody nearby following a traffic stop. The investigation is ongoing.

Two people are in custody and a man was seriously injured in an assault at the Bradford LCBO on Friday. 

South Simcoe police, Simcoe County paramedics and Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire were called to the scene on Holland Street West for an alleged knife incident. 

One man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. 

Customers are not being allowed into the store while police investigate. 

Police say there is no threat to public safety.
