Driver's licence suspended, vehicle impounded near Bradford

Aurora OPP stopped 54-year-old motorist on Highway 400, at Highway 88, early Friday morning

An early morning traffic stop has stripped a driver of both his vehicle and licence.

Aurora OPP pulled over a 54-year-old motorist on Highway 400, at Highway 88, over a suspected case of stunt driving Dec. 15.

Police say the man was allegedly caught travelling 152 kilometres per hour in a 100 zone. He then provided an “alert” warning on a roadside screening device.

A subsequent investigation led to a 45-day vehicle impoundment and a 30-day suspension of the man’s driver’s licence.
