Driver trapped in rollover collision in Newmarket (UPDATE: 8 photos)

The driver of the flipped vehicle was transported to hospital after the 2-car collision on Kingston at Yonge

A 67-year-old woman was taken to hospital after being removed from her flipped car by emergency responders following a two-vehicle collision in Newmarket  Tuesday night.

The vehicle rollover occurred after the cars collided outside the Yonge Kingston Centre plaza on Kingston Road near the intersection of Yonge Street at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, according to York Regional Police.

The driver of the other car was a 54-year-old Newmarket man.

Both drivers were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police closed Kingston from Yonge to George Street for their investigation.
