Driver flees scene of single-vehicle collision on Highway 88 (3 photos)

Police arrested the driver at a gas station following the collision at about 9:40 a.m. today in Bradford

A driver fled the scene after a single-vehicle collision this morning on Highway 88 just west of 10 Side Road in Bradford.

An eastbound vehicle crossed all four lanes of traffic and rolled over in the northbound ditch at about 9:40 a.m. May 10, according to South Simcoe Police.

By the time first responders arrived, the driver had fled the scene.

Police said the driver was arrested at a nearby gas station.

A witness returned to the scene to give his statement to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
