Driver extricated after pickup crashes near canal in Bradford

Bradford firefighters, South Simcoe police, and paramedics were called to scene at intersection of Line 6 and Walker Road

A truck was badly damaged in a mishap in Bradford on Friday night.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., Bradford firefighters, South Simcoe police, and paramedics were called to a single-vehicle collision at the intersection of Line 6 and Walker Road in Bradford.

A pickup truck had gone through the guardrail barrier on the drainage canal running along Morris Road, landing on Morris on the other side of the canal.

The driver required extrication from the vehicle. The area was closed for an ongoing police investigation.
