Driver charged with impaired after collision with Highway 400 barrier, truck

Vehicle struck by a transport truck after it came to a stop in a live northbound lane in Vaughan early Saturday morning, OPP Highway Safety Division says

The driver of vehicle has been charged with impaired following an early morning collision on northbound Highway 400 in Vaughan on Saturday.

The vehicle was initially involved in a single-vehicle collision with a concrete wall barrier, prior to stopping in a live lane near Bass Pro Mills just after 5 a.m. Dec. 16, according to OPP Highway Safety Division.

The vehicle was then struck by a transport truck, resulting in its driver being taken to hospital, police said.
