2 Georgina residents charged after man dies of stab wounds

Two Georgina residents have been charged with first degree murder following a stabbing on Friday, Sept. 10. 

York Regional Police responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of Crydermans Side Road and Highway 48 in Georgina at about 8:50 p.m. 

They found a 51-year-old man with stab wounds. 

He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. 

The victim has been identified as Steve Kloosterman.

Two suspects were arrested at the time of the stabbing and have since been charged in the homicide. 

William Cox, 67, and Casandra Campbell, 37, both of Georgina, are now facing first degree murder charges. 

Police said they aren’t looking for any other suspects at this time.
