The Town of Newmarket is closing a portion of the Tom Taylor Trail for bridge repairs.
The west entrance to the trail by the Newmarket Seniors’ Meeting Place will be temporarily closed to accommodate bridge repairs near the Radial Arch off Queen Street.
As a result, the west side of the Tom Taylor Trail between Davis Drive to Queen Street will be temporarily closed.
The trail is accessible by the east entrance on Davis to get to Queen.
The Queen Street area has been undergoing rehabilitation for several months as the town repairs another bridge over the train tracks east of Robertson Place.
