The Town of Newmarket is asking residents to donate this holiday season to its annual food and toy drive at the town office.
The town will collect non-perishable food items and toys at its municipal offices until Dec. 11 during regular hours of operation. All donations will go toward filling the shelves at the Newmarket Food Pantry and the local Salvation Army.
“Participate in our annual toy and food drive and help spread the holiday spirit,” the town said on its social media.
Donations will be accepted at the municipal offices at 395 Mulock Dr. between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
If you cannot make it to the municipal offices, the town said you can make a monetary donation to both organizations online. You can donate to the Newmarket Food Pantry at newmarketfoodpantry.ca/donate and the Salvation Army a northridgesa.com/give.
