You are invited to get a sneak peek and offer your feedback on Southlake Regional Health Centre’s new master plan to expand the local hospital.

Southlake needs to expand to keep up with the growing communities it serves, officials say. And the development of a master plan will help the hospital to grow over the next three decades.

A master plan is a requirement of Ontario’s Health and Long-Term Care Ministry and must be in place before any request for capital development can be made. Southlake’s most recent master plan was completed in 2008.

Southlake officials say this is a time to get inspired and engaged to unlock the Newmarket hospital’s potential as a leading community hospital.

Participants will also have an opportunity to learn more about Southlake and its health-care partners’ bid to be one of the province’s new Ontario Health Teams.

Southlake wants your thoughts on the types of health-care services the community needs and where they should be delivered.
