About 1,160 homes and businesses are without power Saturday afternoon in Newmarket.
The unplanned outage is affecting the area north of Davis Drive and west of Main Street, beginning at about 2 p.m., with crews estimating power will be restored between 4 to 6 p.m. today, according to NT Power.
"Thank you for your patience and support as we work to restore service safely and as quickly as possibly," they said.
No cause for the outage was stated.
