Frost advisory in effect for:
- Newmarket - Georgina - Northern York Region
- Uxbridge - Beaverton - Northern Durham Region
Patchy frost is expected Saturday morning as overnight temperatures dip near or below the freezing mark.
Cloud cover may prevent the formation of frost in some areas, however, under clear skies, temperatures may have the ability to dip cold enough for frost to form.
Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.
Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
