The largest and longest-running Muslim convention in Canada is happening in Bradford this weekend.
Thousands of people are expected to attend the gathering, called Jalsa Salana Canada, from Friday to Sunday.
The convention will take place at a new outdoor venue this year at the Hadiqa Ahmad mosque, 3999 10 Sideroad.
Canadians of various backgrounds, including politicians and community leaders, will be in attendance.
The convention will begin with a Friday prayer gathering.
The event will include Islamic exhibitions, scholarly presentations, workshops, food and more.
