Actor and entrepreneur Mark Wahlberg paid a visit to some Collingwood businesses this weekend, documenting his time in town on his Instagram page.
Wahlberg is a partner in the F45 gym franchise, and stopped at the Collingwood location on Ste. Marie Street. A video on his Instagram account shows him encouraging gym members. The actor did refer to the Collingwood location as "Muskoka."
Other photos on social media show show the 50-year-old actor, who is known for his intense workouts, stopping at The Dorchester and Grapevine Cottage.
There are more than 2,800 F45 franchises — including F45 Newmarket on Yonge Street in East Gwillimbury — in more than 60 countries, according to company reports. In 2019, Wahlberg teamed up with a Florida-based venture capital company called FOD Capital to buy a stake in F45.
