Schomberg resident Reginald Fortune is enjoying "a nice feeling" after winning $81,990.
The 61-year-old construction worker won the Poker Lotto All In jackpot worth $76,988 on Feb. 23, along with $5,000 on the instant portion of his ticket and another $2 on the same play.
Fortune shared the news about his win with his brother right away.
“He was happy,” he smiled. “It’s a nice feeling.”
He hasn’t decided how to spend his winnings yet and will put it into savings for now.
“I discovered my win while at the store. The screen went crazy, and I saw a lot of zeros,” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at George’s Convenience on Dr. Kay Drive in Schomberg.
