Mariastella Strazzeri and Graziella Fazio of Woodbridge are investing for the future after winning $1 million by matching all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the March 29, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.
The pair says this is their first big win and they've been playing LOTTO MAX once a week for five years.
"We're very excited," Strazzeri said at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
"We told our children and they're very happy for us. It's a great feeling," Strazzeri added.
They plan to save their win and invest for the future.
The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Major Mackenzie Drive in Woodbridge.
