Leonardo Sirianni says he plans to use his winnings for a more comfortable retirement

A Woodbridge resident's head is spinning after winning a $125,000 lotto prize with the Big Spin Instant game (Game #3109).

Leonardo Sirianni, a retiree from the transportation industry, says he has played the lottery regularly for the past two years since retirement.

"This is my first big win," Sirianni said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall.

"When I was checking my ticket at the store, I saw it land on Big Spin and I was so shocked! I called my wife, and she was shocked, too."

"Seeing the Big Spin wheel and the people cheering me on was overwhelming. The wheel was heavier than I expected. My heart was pumping!"

Sirianni plans to use his win for a more comfortable retirement and will make some investments.

"We will celebrate with the family over a nice steak dinner, and I'll consider a family trip to commemorate this experience," he said.

In a news release, OLG described Big Spin Instant as a $5 game that combines scratch play with prizes revealed in-store by an animated spinning wheel on the lottery terminal screen and potentially, an in-person spin on Big Spin Wheel at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto with a prize up to $500,000.

Sirianni's winning ticket was purchased at George's Convenience on Ansley Grove Road in Woodbridge.
