Re: YRDSB opts against adoption of antisemitism definition, Sept. 14, 2022

The YRDSB chickened out on this matter by postponing it, probably forever.

It's my opinion that the board and its trustees are antisemitic and have been for decades. As a former trustee for 10 years and vice-chair, I know things were bad in my day, but it has certainly got worse.

I fail to believe that 560 responses were received. In my 10 years at the board, I don't believe we ever received that many responses on any topic. I unfortunately believe if two-thirds of the responses were negative, there was a concerted effort to get negative comments sent to the board.

I am ashamed to have been a trustee at YRDSB, if this is the present state of affairs.
