Pawdre came into the care of the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society York Region Animal Centre in January. He had been seen wandering the community for some time with no known home.

Pawdre is approximately two years old and is a super sweet boy. He enjoys the company of people and is extremely affectionate. Pawdre loves to climb on your lap and enjoys rubbing his face against yours, sometimes giving cheek kisses.

In his foster home, he enjoyed lounging on the bed with his foster family, watching TV beside them or cuddling on their lap or chest.

He likes to be right up by your face for snuggles. He’s a happy boy who will purr and knead affectionately.

Pawdre has mild arthritis in his hip, likely from a past injury that never healed properly. He is on medication and a joint supplement to keep him comfortable and healthy.

His arthritis diagnosis hasn’t stopped this little guy from being a ball of energy! He is now feeling great! He runs, jumps and plays! Chasing a wand toy is his favourite activity.

Pawdre has been patiently waiting for a loving family to bring him home. If you are interested in adopting Pawdre, please email [email protected]. To see all of the animals available for adoption, visit ontariospca.ca/yorkregion
