NewmarketToday, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre, brings you Adopt Me, a regular feature highlighting special pets in need of adoption.

Leo is looking to learn!

Leo is an 11-month-old German Shepherd, looking to soak up all your time and love. Leo is a big puppy who is looking for a family who has the time to train him.

Having been kept in a kennel since he was seven months old, Leo has had very little training and lots of pent-up energy. He is looking for someone who can spend the time teaching him new tricks. He is a smart dog who is eager to please, he just needs to practise his manners.

Although Leo may jump up when greeting new people, or pull on a leash, he is very treat motivated and ready to learn. Leo would do best in a home with no other animals or young children.

He loves to play and go on long walks. He’s looking for someone who can be a strong leader and take him under their guidance and training.

Leo is neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and ready to find his forever home. With a little more time and attention, there’s no doubt Leo can become a loyal best friend.

To meet Leo, please call the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre in Stouffville at 905-898-7122 ext.306, and set up an appointment. If you are interested in other animals up for adoption, visit peac.ontariospca.ca.
