Inn From the Cold extends its deepest gratitude to all the participants who contributed to the overwhelming success of the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) 2024 fundraiser. The organization is thrilled by the unwavering support received, illuminating hope for those served by Inn From the Cold.

The dedication and generosity of the community were truly remarkable, resulting in CNOY 2024 surpassing its initial goal of $90,000 with an incredible $172,541 raised. This achievement reflects the compassion and commitment of the community, and it will significantly impact Inn From the Cold's ability to continue its mission of combating homelessness and providing essential services.

A special congratulations is extended to the record-breaking 458 walkers who participated this year. Their willingness to brave the winter cold for the cause exemplifies the community's solidarity in addressing the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness.

The funds raised during CNOY 2024 will play a critical role in supporting Inn From the Cold's mission to provide over 4,732 shelter stays for the most vulnerable in the community. The support ensures a warm place to sleep, three nutritious meals, access to necessities, and a chance for basic hygiene and dignity.

The success of CNOY 2024 is a collective effort of the community, and Inn From the Cold acknowledges the clients who participated and supported the program. Their involvement and volunteerism during the event showcase the strength and resilience of individuals who have experienced homelessness.

Inn From the Cold is excited to share that next year, it will be moving into a new facility with expanded services. This milestone is made possible through the ongoing support and contributions of the community, and all levels of the government and a committed capital cabinet led by Newmarket Mayor John Taylor.

The participants' compassion, dedication, and generosity make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, and together, the community is building a more robust, more compassionate environment.
