Warrant issued for federal offender known to frequent Markham, Toronto

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of statutory release.  

Luis Sampedro is described as Latin American male, 30, 5 feet 8 inches(173cm), 150 lbs (68kgs) with short black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his left arm of praying hands with "Martha and Nathaniel" and "Nanny" on his right forearm.  

He is serving a six-year, seven-month and 14-day sentence for Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest, Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Several Firearms and drug-related offences.  

The offender is known to frequent the Toronto and Markham areas.
