Vulnerable Vaughan man missing since leaving home Oct. 7

York Regional Police is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 41-year-old vulnerable man from Vaughan.

Pooyah Kashefifar was last seen leaving his residence in the area of Abner Miles Drive and Yates Avenue around 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. He was driving a grey Toyota RAV4.

Investigators have learned that on Tuesday, Oct. 11, Kashefifar attended a location in Quebec, near the Ontario border.

Kashefifar has not returned and police have not been able to locate him.

His family and police are concerned for his well-being. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.

His is described as 5 feet 11 inches, 175 lbs., medium build, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, grey hoodie, dark-blue pants and black running shoes.

He is driving a 2018 grey Toyota RAV4, with licence plate ATFF 567
