UPDATE: Missing vulnerable Georgina man found dead in Toronto

Toronto police advise his death is not being considered as suspicious

UPDATE, OCT.4: The vulnerable Georgina missing since Sept. 24 has sadly been located deceased in Toronto, York Regional Police said.  

Investigators have been advised by the Toronto Police Service that the death of David Harvey, 28, is not considered suspicious.

Investigators with the York Regional Police #3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance in locating a missing 28-year-old vulnerable man from the Town of Georgina.

David Harvey was last seen Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, around 5:50 p.m. at the York Regional Transit Finch Station, located at Yonge Street and Finch Avenue, in the City of Toronto. He is known to frequent Toronto and seek shelters within the city.

Harvey has not returned to his residence and police have not been able to locate him.

Investigators are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police.

  • Long, black hair
  • Dark complexion
  • Thin moustache and dark facial hair on chin
  • Last seen wearing a light-blue, zip-up coat, grey track pants and black shoes
