VIDEO: Rock thrown at tattoo shop window in suspected arson attempt

Suspects were caught on video carrying a Jerry can and bottle believed to be a Molotov cocktail

Investigators with the #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are releasing video of an attempted arson and seeking community assistance to identify the suspects.

On Friday, Sept. 6, 2019 shortly after 3 a.m., two suspects were captured on video surveillance in front of a tattoo shop located at 3883 Rutherford Rd. which is in the area of Weston Road. The two men approach the front of the business, one of them carrying a jerry can and what appears to be a bottle assumed for use as a Molotov cocktail. The other suspect has a rock and attempted to break the front glass of the business. After two unsuccessful attempts to break the glass, the suspects walked away.
